Playing Career: 5 years high level club volleyball, 5 years Post-Secondary at Thompson Rivers University.

Education: BSc Majoring in Biology Minoring in Business Management from Thompson Rivers University. Currently pursuing an After Degree in Education at the University of Calgary.

Marital Status: Single          

After a successful club career Julia continued to play CIS volleyball for Thompson Rivers University for five years. After completing her five years with the program she graduated with a Degree in Biology with a Minor in Management. She then decided to make the transition from playing competitively to coaching and further pursuing schooling. She has coached throughout her five years at TRU with the Kamloops Volleyball Association ranging from 14U-18U female age groups. After graduation, Julia was accepted into the After Degree in Education Program at University of Calgary where she is currently studying to become a high school science teacher. While pursuing her second degree, Julia will be coaching with 403 Selects 15U team alongside Carsten Stanjeck and Taryn Cossar, with hopes of coaching high school league volleyball next season as well.
