Nick’s coaching career began by accident during his senior year in high school and the rest is history. Over the last 15 years, Nick was fortunate to experience success work alongside/under numerous Canadian volleyball icons. Nick has over 8 years of post secondary coaching under his belt at SAIT, Olds College and Keyano College. He was an assistant coach at Olds College capturing their first ACAC medal in since 1967-68. Following that, he helped build Keyano College’s men’s and women’s programs into perennial contenders, winning several conference medals including the school’s first ever ACAC championship and national medal. He also founded a Jr Huskies program to develop volleyball in RMWB region. Nick has extensive experience specializing with individual technical skill development.

Nick’s playing career began with Canada West Volleyball Club. He graduated following a decorated high school career as team captain at Lord Beaverbrook, and went on to play at Lethbridge College before transferring to SAIT in 2009. That season, he was a member of the Trojans men’s team that won the program’s first provincial title in 25 years. Two years later, he was team captain and a finalist for Male Athlete of the Year.
